I’ve seen a lot of talk on Twitter from Jamie Bowie and Martin Rooney about the Moscow 4×400 relay team being upgraded to bronze, but can’t find official confirmation. I take it it’s the Russians getting DQ’d again – anyone know anything?

That was Maxim Dyldin who tested positive for Oral-Turinabol (Chlorodehydromethyltestosterone) at the London Olympics. He was on the first leg against Conrad Williams. Dyldin was banned already for refusing a dope test. 80 meter hammer thrower Kirill Ikonnikov was caught at the same time, but banned for 8 years as opposed to Dyldin’s 4 years.

I read about his positive test, but haven’t seen anything official about the upgrade yet. Suppose it will be announced in time.
