An emotional interview with the senior women's race runner-up who said she is "over the moon" with securing silver after she wasn't sure that she would even make it to the event at all

Britain's Kate Avery secured her second consecutive individual European Cross Country Championships silver medal in Hyères, France, on Sunday, finishing as runner-up to Sifan Hassan in the senior women's race.

Avery later reflected on the race in an emotional interview in which she explained how she is "over the moon" with her medal after she wasn't sure that she would even make it to the event at all.
