The stars of British athletics will return to Sheffield for the British Athletics European Trials & UK Championships on February 9-10 in an action-packed weekend of athletics.
Athletes will be fighting for a place at the European Indoor Championships in Gothenburg, and not wanting Athletics Weekly readers to miss out on the action we have five pairs of tickets up for grabs for the second day of action on Sunday, February 10.
There was a rapturous welcome for hometown hero Jessica Ennis in 2012 as she set the capacity crowd alight with a world-class display in the high jump, before breaking the stadium record in the 60m hurdles.
Holly Bleasdale (pictured above) was another British athlete who shone, breaking her own stadium record to clear 4.70m in the women’s pole vault.
The veterans didn’t disappoint in South Yorkshire either, with 33-year-old Dwain Chambers and 39-year-old Yamile Aldama victorious in the 60m and triple jump respectively.
