Jez Bragg reflects on the epic journey that saw him conquer the 3,054km Te Araroa trail
After 53 days 9 hours and 3,054 km of running, Jez Bragg conquered the Te Araroa trail – a new route that covers the length of New Zealand.
Bragg, who is a former winner of the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc, managed to complete the epic journey despite suffering from giardia, a parasite that attacks the intestinal system.
In this video he reflects on his journey. “I’m just so proud of that because, it was bold, and I did pull it off. And that’s cool,” he said.
