Athletics Weekly has teamed up with high-performance running brand Brooks Sports to give readers the opportunity to share their Run Happy stories – there’s a bundle of Brooks kit up for grabs!

Brooks believes in the transformative power of the run. The run can turn a day – or a life – completely around and can flat out change the world.

When it comes down to it, we run because it makes us happy. The words “Run Happy” remind runners why they fell in love with running in the first place.

It is a feeling, an attitude, a spirit that lives in the hearts and minds of all runners – young or old, fast or slow, male or female, master or newbie.

We want to hear all about  your Run Happy experience, whether it’s a first race, a new PB or a moment that changed your race around. It can be anything.

Each month we will pick our favourite Run Happy story. Not only will that story appear in Athletics Weekly, but the owner of that story will receive Brooks kit including a pair of shoes or spikes, a jacket and a tee.
